Dr John 2015 Studio

Malcolm John “Mac” Rebennack, aka Dr. John, One of Frenchy’s favorite all time artist to paint live, this work of art was created in Frenchy’s Oak street studio, one of two paintings with a gold spray paint stencil background on flat black gesso. Working for over 30 studio hours, nothing but love for Dr John. Applying the 3 color wash technique and painting into the stencils, creating this funky urban feel.
