When Tulane opened Yulman Stadium on September 6, 2014, Frenchy was there painting. Tulane's alumni office asked him to paint the first game in the new stadium, Tulane vs. Georgia Tech, and he said yes on the spot.
Tulane News found him set up beside an ESPN camera crew at the South Claiborne Avenue end zone, covered in paint splatters. The story recaps a career that runs from Super Bowls, Saints games and Jazz Fest to MTV and the Summer Olympics, with every piece sketched and painted live at the event. The finished Yulman painting was released as a limited edition print.
